My Story !

It's website where I document my experiences!

Hey! I’m Megha Bisht, and here’s my story!

I’m a young adult living a dream life—a mix of nature, adventure, and self-discovery. In a country like India, where life often dances between family expectations and personal ambitions, I’m blessed to have my parents not only supporting me but being my biggest cheerleaders. They’re the reason I’m able to chase my passions without hesitation.

My journey began like any other child’s: my parents introduced me to sports to burn off energy. Little did they know that what started as a casual activity would turn into a decade-long passion. I picked skating during a school sports period, just like my friends, but that small choice took me to district, state, and even national championships. Over time, it became my identity—I’m proud to say I’m a national skating medalist.

But my story doesn’t stop there. Alongside skating, I was part of school teams for football, basketball, badminton, and kho-kho, earned a brown belt in karate, and played table tennis for fun. Then, out of nowhere, my cycling journey began. During endurance training for skating, a fellow athlete’s parent suggested trying a cycling competition, and before I knew it, I was competing at the state level. That chance event opened a new chapter, leading me to national cycling championships, where I won gold in track cycling and a podium finish at the road cycling nationals.

While cycling was thrilling, life had more surprises. My dad had enrolled me in a basic mountaineering course back in 2020—something we thought we’d decide about later. By 2022, I was scaling mountains, completing the Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC), and trekking iconic routes like the Kashmir Great Lakes and Bali Pass. The raw beauty of nature left a mark on me, deepening my love for adventure.

Fast forward to 2024, a year that redefined my limits. My dad introduced me to triathlons, and while I was hesitant at first (especially about swimming), I took it on as a challenge. Starting with baby steps in March, I swam my first-ever 2k in September and went on to complete IRONMAN 70.3 Goa—a feat I’d never imagined. Training for the triathlon wasn’t easy; I struggled with running, swimming, and even rebuilding my cycling strength after losing muscle during long treks. But overcoming these challenges taught me resilience, and I embraced every step of the journey with pride.

What’s next? Well, I’ll keep that a secret. Life’s been full of unexpected turns, and I love the thrill of not knowing what’s coming next. Stay tuned as I continue to explore and blog about my adventures.

Till then, have a great day and keep smiling—kyuki kya pata kal ho naa ho! 😉
